===== How to proceed =====
During a remote desktop session, it is not possible to put the remote device into sleep mode without further ado. Provided that the [[en:windows:move_pagefile|]]However, this can be done with the following steps:
Open the command line on the remote device:
* Click on the Windows icon
* Enter the following in the search bar
cmd
* Enter the following in the command line:
rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState
The remote device now goes into sleep mode and the Remote Desktop session can be ended.
